About me and my practice
I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures offering a safe non-judgmental space for you to address any problems you have and I will work with you at your pace.
Working as a counsellor allows me to walk alongside and support you in your time of need, often when you are most alone and vulnerable.
Online sessions will last for 60 minutes and can be weekly or fortnightly suitable to your needs.
Experience
I am a BACP accredited counsellor offering counselling sessions to people who would like therapeutic counselling. I am approachable, holistic and will offer support to those who are experiencing psychological and emotional upset. As a BACP accredited member, I am fully qualified, experienced and insured. I am also a qualified Reiki Master Practitioner and teacher and I have a nurturing nature to guide you through any difficulties you are experiencing within a healing space.
This process of allowing space for inner experience can enable you to strengthen trust in your own inner guidance and bring a new perspective. I believe that it is through self-understanding and recognition of feelings, without judgement, that change can occur. Although this may at times be difficult, through understanding our inner world we can develop a more compassionate relationship with ourselves and therefore also with others.
I have worked with individuals who are struggling with anxiety and depression, low self esteem, low self worth and trauma. I also have experience of relationship issues, bereavement, stress, women's issues, work related issues, redundancy, and post traumatic stress. These are just a few of the issues I have supported individuals with in therapeutic sessions.
I work with both neurodiverse and neurotypical clients.
I have further training in coaching, mindfulness, neurolinguistic programming (NLP), Health Promotion and Reiki which broadens my therapeutic approach.

Initial Consultation
Initially you will have a free no obligation 20-minute telephone consultation to find out what you hope to gain from counselling. This gives us the opportunity to decide whether I would be the right counsellor for you and for you to ask any questions about the therapy. Your first session would include an initial assessment of your needs and the following sessions will be to take this forward.
I will share my approach and together we can develop a contract for the area of work you want to work on. This ensures that all our therapeutic work is led by you.
Fees
£45 per 60 minute session.
I offer concessionary rates for students and trainee counsellors.
When I Work
I am able to offer evening sessions Monday - Friday.
